Michael Austin is a practising lawyer, with over thirty years experience focusing on:

In addition to practising law, he has been a director, then managing director, of a public, unlisted diversified investment company, Consolo Limited, for over twenty years.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Experience includes executive and non-executive directorship roles in many companies including:
Corporate management and governance;
A start up, serviced office business, with offices throughout South East Asia;
Manufacturing and distribution of seedlings throughout Australia;
Planning, development and construction of residential, commercial and industrial real estate, in NSW and Queensland;
Management of portfolios of publicly listed shares.
In addition, he has held honorary positions as Trustee and Director of organisations in the not-for-profit sector.
